Stuff the Scholarship was a Success!

A huge thank you to Burgerville and Bimore for their contributions to Stuff the Scholarship, our sister program to Stuff the Bus offering a scholarship to a Senior at Washougal and Camas High. Burgerville hosted the event AND donated a portion of the proceeds for two nights to the fund and Bimore so generously donated the TV we raffled off. The event was a success and everyone had a great time. We are so happy to have such supportive staff and students willing to spend the evening helping us with this event!

Thank you to everyone who made Stuff the Bus 2009 such a success! The results of the competition were amazing and no one could believe the amount of food and toy donations raised by these kids.
Our winner was Washougal High School with each student raising an average of 42 lbs of food!
In total, the competition raised 72,120 pounds of food for the Camas-Washougal community. Thank you Camas and Washougal High School! You are such awesome kids! Stay tuned as we post photos and video of this great event...

"The Camas High School Band and Choir performed while selling raffle tickets and collecting donations at the Camas Safeway last weekend. It was a great addition to the spirit of giving and literally brought a man to tears."
