Stuff the Bus December 9th, 2011 Noon to 5pm!
Last year, the students of Camas and Washougal School Districts raised over 70,000 pounds of food from Stuff the Bus. This year, because of the growing need in our community, our goal is to reach even higher.
Something that people may not be aware of is that the need for emergency food has never been higher in SW Washington. That is why we need all of the community support we can get, and that is why we want you to know that EVERY BIT COUNTS!
If you think that your donation doesn't make a difference or that you aren't doing enough if you can only donate one item, think again. Every single item brings us closer to helping end hunger in our communities.
You can help this year by donating non perishable food items at your local Safeway when you see Stuff the Bus representatives there, by buying raffle tickets, OR by bringing your donation by on the day of the big event!
Buses will be parked from noon until 5pm collecting food donations from the community and their supporting elementary and middle schools in their district. Come by and bring your donation!
Sorry, we are no longer accepting online donations. Please take your food donation directly to your high school.
UPDATE:
Both Camas and Washougal School busses have been invited to drive through with the parade Friday, December 9th at 6pm in downtown Washougal's Tree Lighting Ceremony. Once the parade is complete - they will then continue on to Exterior Wood where they will be weighed and the winner will be announced!
